About QR Code Generator
A QR code is a grid of modules that says the same thing wherever it is scanned — so the interesting part of making one is what you put inside it, not how it looks. This tool builds the payload for the presets that actually get used: a URL, a Wi-Fi network with its encryption type so a guest joins without typing a passphrase, a mailto or tel link, an SMS body, and a vCard contact. Each is written to the format scanners expect, including the escaping that breaks a vCard with a comma in the name.
Two settings are worth understanding before printing. Error correction (L, M, Q, H) adds redundancy so a code still reads when part of it is dirty, covered or printed badly — higher levels survive more damage and hold less data. Size and quiet margin decide whether a phone at arm's length can read it: keep the four-module white border, because a code printed edge-to-edge fails far more often than a code that looks correct on screen.
Rendering is entirely in your browser, which matters for the common case of putting a credential or an internal URL into a code: nothing you type is transmitted or stored. Download the PNG for print, or copy the SVG for a vector placement that stays sharp at any size.
