Privacy Policy
Overview
This policy describes what data DexartTools handles and why. DexartTools is designed to minimize data collection: the vast majority of tools run entirely in your browser, and your inputs are never transmitted to our servers by those tools.
Information processed in your browser (not sent to us)
Text you paste into browser-side tools, files you open with image/PDF tools, and generated outputs remain on your device. Closing the tab discards them. We cannot see this data.
Information we collect automatically
Server logs: like most websites, our hosting may log request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. Retention is governed by the hosting provider's policy.
Usage analytics: we store anonymous aggregate counters — how many times a tool page is viewed or run, and which search terms are entered. These records contain no account identifiers (the site has no accounts), are never shown as a number on a tool page, and are used only to spot gaps in the catalog.
Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies keep basic preferences (such as your theme choice) working.
Advertising: when ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. See Google's Advertising Policies and the Cookie Policy for details. Where required by law, a consent mechanism governs personalized advertising.
Uploaded files
Browser-side tools never upload your files. If a future tool requires server-side processing, its tool page will disclose exactly what is uploaded, how long it is retained, and how it is deleted.
Contact form and feedback submissions
If you submit the contact form, a bug report or feedback, we store the message you send (and your email address if you provide one) so we can respond. Submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle them.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings, use the browser's Do Not Track signal, and opt out of personalized Google advertising via Google Ads Settings. [Owner placeholder: review against GDPR/CCPA obligations that apply to your audience and business.]
